I am a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor. I provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families of all ages who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, loss, family conflicts, domestic violence, substance use/misuse and/or a variety of related mental health concerns. I am delighted to be able to help you find or renew hope, strengths, and/or to develop reachable goals which will enable you to fulfill your full potential. My goal is to support my clients through life's stresses and help them heal, resolve, and manage the issues that may seem impossible to overcome.

I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. Life brings many hardships and challenges, and it brings us opportunities to learn and grow. I have worked with many people who battle anxiety and depression, and still others working to move past traumatic experiences or addictions. Whatever circumstance you may be facing, there is hope! I believe that people in need of positive change desire an element of self-efficacy and control over the areas of their life that can indeed be brought under their power. This sense of control then contributes to better relationships, health, attitudes, and a more positive life!

I believe that my job as a counselor isn't to "fix" my clients but to help them develop a plan where they can attend to and address the issues in their lives. My aim with my clients isn't simply to help them pause an issue in their lives temporarily but to understand why those issues present themselves in the first place so that they can be dealt with appropriately. I primarily use EMDR to help my clients grow in their lives. I enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ folx and individuals hoping to deconstruct beliefs/attitudes absorbed through harmful religious upbringings.
