I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. Life brings many hardships and challenges, and it brings us opportunities to learn and grow. I have worked with many people who battle anxiety and depression, and still others working to move past traumatic experiences or addictions. Whatever circumstance you may be facing, there is hope! I believe that people in need of positive change desire an element of self-efficacy and control over the areas of their life that can indeed be brought under their power. This sense of control then contributes to better relationships, health, attitudes, and a more positive life!
I counsel adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals struggling with numerous issues including anxiety, depression, and pain, and I am a certified SYMBIS+ practitioner (an empirically grounded marriage/premarital therapy system). I have a desire to help clients reach their greatest potential.
I work very hard to ensure my clients leave each session feeling hopeful and empowered. Therapy can involve hard work at times; however, my job is to guide and encourage my clients toward being the very best person they can be.
