I am a PhD level professional clinical counselor, physical therapist, certified professional coach and (RYT), with expertise in individual, group, and relationship therapy licensed in OH and FL. I have been working with infertility for 25+ years and a neonatal developmental specialist. I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and co- founder of Dare2Care, a Cleveland based LGBTQ focused anti-bullying organization, now an embedded program of the Cleveland Leadership Center. I have significant experience working with grief, loss and relationship betrayal and approach this work from a trauma model.

I have been practicing for over 35 years and still love the process of engaging with clients who desire to grow, improve their lives, and/or solve their problems through therapy. Amy works with individuals and couples of all walks of life. With over 25 years of combined experience, she assists survivors of trauma and loss including death, divorce, and a multitude of life changes and transformations. She helps individuals living with grief, all forms of loss, depression, anxiety, PTSD, codependency and adult children of alcoholics. Amy guides couples and individuals with sexuality concerns, communication and relationship-building, as well as spirituality and life adjustments. She encompasses mind-body-energy healing practices to fit the client's worldviews and needs.

It can be scary to reach out and make that first call; but, I will try to reduce those fears. My experience is diverse; but specialized in particular areas. I have extensive work in child welfare and working with physically and sexually abused children and their families, inpatient psychiatric units at Crisis Center and Geriatric Unit, been in private practice for over 20 years, and started working with Transgender persons 24 years ago as part of treatment team. I continue the same integrated process for a referral to physicians/surgerons for HRT or GRS while abiding to WPATH-7 standards.
