I am a Licensed Profession Clinical Counselor. I have been practicing clinical counseling for over 35 years and have been in private practice for over twenty-five years. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, couples, and family therapy for issues related to depression, anxiety, anger management, grief, trauma, addictions, involvement in the criminal justice system, and most other concerns. Degree from Colorado State University in 1969, sociology-anthropology, M.S. Pepperdine University, 1977 in special education-psychology, Ph.D. clinical counseling and psychotherapy, Union Institute and University 1993. She has worked as a therapist in an intensive home-based therapy program, working with youth and family with severe emotional and mental health needs. She also led educational and therapeutic groups with children and provided individual and consultation services. She has training in suicide prevention, behavior modification and parenting interventions.
