I love my work. I have really enjoyed getting to know my clients over the past 35 years. Although I consult with adults, adolescents & children, I also see many couples and families. My clients are never the problem, they have problems and need solutions and strategies to get "unstuck" or make changes in their lives. I have also found personal, business and career coaching helpful to many clients. I am the owner of a large practice with psychologists, psychiatrists & counselors. I have extensive clinical experience working with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have practiced in various settings, including private practice, community settings, Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) programs, as well as psychiatric inpatient hospitals. My therapeutic approach is centered around the needs of my clients and is based on evidence-based modalities such as solution-focused therapy (SFBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), & trauma-informed therapy (TF-CBT, Narrative, & EMDR).

As a former Ohio State wrestler, one of my greatest passions is in Sports Counseling - helping athletes and families reach their potential where anger, negative self talk and fear can often times speak so loudly. I help others realize they can silence those voices and take ownership of their actions and emotions so sports, relationships and life can be fun!

I enjoy working with adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. I have a background in school counseling with years of experience working with older children and adolescents. I am a licensed psychologist who has been in private practice for more than three decades. I believe in carefully listening and then being interactive. I share ideas and possible things to do to challenge old behaviors and erroneous beliefs about oneself. I am a big believer in when one has a bigger picture of one’s self and their back story then real change can occur.

Ms. Griffith is a Board Licensed School Psychologist conducting private practice in the Columbus, Ohio area with over 15 years of experience in public schools. Ms. Griffith provides thorough and skilled independent psychoeducational evaluations for children (ages 3 and up) and adults with learning differences. Assessments include IQ testing, achievement, adaptive behavior, social-emotional status, ADHD, executive function, and autism to find the source of your or your dependent's challenges. We offer assistance with special education in PreK-12 schools, 504s, and accommodations for College Board exams and college courses.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor and provide services to children, adults and families. I recently completed a Doctorate in Community Care and Counseling specializing in Marriage and Family therapy and address behavioral issues including anxiety, depression, trauma & abuse, stress management, grief & bereavement, and behavioral issues. I have received training in Gottman Relational Counseling Level I &II and Emotion- Focused Therapy; EMDR to help those with unresolved trauma and CBT; and also Play and Sandplay therapy. I like to have a lot of fun with my clients and their families and enjoy what I do!
