As a first-generation American, I understand how culture, family dynamics, and intergenerational factors impact stress. Growing up in a family shaped by the Cambodian genocide's trauma, I deeply grasp culture, identity, and mental health's intricate interplay. My experiences fuel my dedication to helping individuals navigate trauma, acculturation, and resilience.
