Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

I am a Doctor of Clinical Social Work with a degree from the University of Pennsylvania; a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from Syracuse University; a member of the National Association of Social Workers; an EMDR certified trauma treatment specialist; a professional actress, playwright, director, vocalist and member of Actor’s Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists; and a Christian, so I do my best to live a life of integrity, goodness, and service, without judgement. Each of us have faced painful personal experiences. Pain can be due to events, interactions with others or troubled relationships. Or they can be caused by negative behavior or thought patterns that won’t stop. Sometimes we can address such troubles on their own. However, if you have been unable to resolve difficult issues alone, you may realize how they reduce the quality of your life – by establishing a pattern of emotional problems, an inability to interact productively with others, impacting your career, negatively affect relationships, or create problematic habits. But they can be addressed with help. My hours are M-F 8-4

Life can be incredibly difficult and even tragic at times. Abrupt transitions; mental and physical illness; even a simple lack of direction can all constitute overwhelming obstacles. We often find ourselves needing an outside perspective and a supportive environment to sort through our jumbled thoughts and emotions. Mental Health Counseling can provide this. Since 2016, I have been treating anxiety, panic, OCD, trauma, and life-transition related issues. I also offer EMDR which is an advanced methodology for resolving adverse life events which may still be producing negative after effects.

I provide specialized expertise in working with young to middle-aged couples who have been dealing with a range of issues: anxiety, depression, relationships, mood disorders, natural transitions (e.g. marriage, career changes) & trauma that is having a negative impact on their relationships. I have worked with clients of diverse backgrounds. My therapeutic work is eclectic with individualized, interactive therapy. I graduated from Long Island University with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's in Psychology.

I believe that unresolved issues and problems have the power to control the direction of our lives and cause real pain. This pain can take the form of depression, anxiety, trouble regulating emotion, sleep problems and poor self esteem. Problems in relationships as well as coming to terms with loss can often be the hardest ones.
