Over 27 years I've had the privilege of helping children, teens, parents, co-parents, adults, and families; facing tough and painful circumstances. Family, Children's, Delinquency, and Criminal cases continues to lend support for those involved in legal matters. Parents are powerful influencers good & bad. I work to improve, empower and educate for more functional relationships. Children and teens often need an objective ear to help them with increasing pressures. Adults seeking support and problem-solving tools for relationships, career, and childhood-effects are also valued focus. This includes the effects of trauma and abuse.

I have been a licensed social worker since July 2017, but I have been helping New Mexico military families, Veterans, aging population and the homeless for over 12 years. As a military veteran, I understand the struggles with adapting to civilian life, and have experience working with substance abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic pain and coping with stress. I love working with tweens and teens and I have experience with couples and family therapy.

Most of us struggle at times. When the struggle lingers, or when significant or traumatic events impede us from functioning as well as we want to, therapy can help. Most of my clients are wrestling with a combination of anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or the impact of traumatic events. Some are struggling to identify what is most important or meaningful in life. Others are clear about their values and goals, but struggle with barriers of fear, avoidance, or doubt. In therapy, I aim to provide a sense of acceptance, understanding, and challenge to help you make the changes you want for yourself.

I have been providing therapy for almost 3 decades. I have developed programs, provided crisis mediation, and investigated abuse against individuals and facilities. I have worked with persons of all ages, including persons with disabilities, and those who have suffered various types of trauma and hardships. I have a broad range of knowledge and therapeutic skills. I will work with you wherever you are on your journey. I provide a safe place to cope with issues and discover insights into yourself. I treat adults, children, and families. I work with a broad array of clients from children (ages 6 and older) who display characteristics of Attachment Disorders to those in their teens who are actively defiant, and those who may have become withdrawn due to angst, bullying, or any number of day to day worries.
