Laura earned a Master’s Degree after graduating from Centenary University in 2014. She has had extensive experience working with both adolescents and adults in various settings including: Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, In school counseling settings, Group homes, and traditional outpatient settings. Laura has utilized professional therapeutic techniques to assist clients coping with depression, anxiety, trauma, bi-polar disorder, substance abuse, personality disorders, body-image struggles, eating disorders, self-harm, self-esteem, grief/loss, and difficult life transitions.

Kristin has extensive experience working with clients in a variety of settings. She uses an integrative approach to therapy while tailoring treatment to meet the needs of the individual. Kristin has a background working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Kristin has experience treating mood disorders, trauma, grief, OCD, end of life and relationship issues as well as anxiety, depression and difficult life transitions.

I have provided therapy to children and families for the past 15 + years, so I understand how important it is to find a therapist that is the right fit. I work hard to meet all clients where they are in the process, and believe in keeping things simple and logical. I use different therapy approaches, including cognitive behavioral, trauma focused cognitive behavioral and solution focused. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents, many of whom have been resistant to services but have made great progress. Evening and weekend appointments available.

Focus of my practice is assisting clients, ages 11 to 65+, in coping with problems in their daily lives and dealing with inner conflicts which may hinder personal satisfaction and functioning. Together we will identify goals for treatment, barriers that may keep you from accomplishing your goals and develop strategies to overcome these barriers. Providing in-person therapy for children 3-13! When kids have big feelings they need a safe place to process and explore them. I welcome all kids ages 3-13 to come and work on feelings, coping skills, self esteem, communication, and more in our play therapy room. Play is the language of children and is how they communicate. It opens doors for them to understand themselves and the world around them. I can help facilitate this process utilizing a child centered play therapy approach while also incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
