I have been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker since 2009, practicing in the field of mental health since 2007. I love to see people achieve their goals and see my work as being a fellow traveler on the path with them. I find that so many are coping with anxiety, depression and trauma, and I am experienced in helping people to develop skills to cope more effectively and peacefully with the curve balls that life can throw in order to live happier, healthier lives.

Everyone comes from a different path of life. At times, our journeys can be overwhelming and can leave us feeling anxious and depressed. They can add up to us feeling isolated, like support is a distant option. As a human being, I don’t believe that people should feel alone or struggle alone. Along with that, I feel called to be an advocate for mental health and overall wellness. I specialize in providing support and guidance to those who are navigating the challenges of anxiety, depression, and life changes. I believe that men are faced with conflicting expectations in our society that can lead them to feel frustrated, misunderstood and isolated. They are expected to be strong yet gentle, fierce yet sensitive, protective but not overbearing. Sometimes men get stuck in one role and cannot transition to another as the situation changes. My goal is to coach you on developing new strategies for addressing these issues and to help you break destructive patterns. While I focus on men's issues, all of my experience and techniques work with people in all walks of life and lifestyles.

I work with adults who are struggling with substances, or in recovery, and their families to manage stress, control their emotions, and find purpose & peace. Trying to navigate the waters of recovery alone can be a recipe for disaster; at worst it means relapse, at best it means a life of being restless, irritable, and discontent.

We all struggle for short or long periods of time in our lives; however, everyone has the ability to learn new skills to overcome and succeed no matter the circumstances. Each and every person deserves the right to pursue their happiness and at times we all need a little help along the way. I allow for a serene, reflective, non-judgmental atmosphere.

Nicole is a young clinician and LICSW/MLADC candidate with Counseling Associates. She works primarily with teens and adults and strives to create a therapeutic space where clients can feel empowered to share their experiences and struggles, in order to meet them where they are and support them on their journey. Nicole has vast experience working at the intersections of co-occurring disorders and the criminal justice system, including mental health and drug court programs across New Hampshire and Maine, and has also worked with survivors of human trafficking, domestic, and sexual violence for many years.

I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to change, and if you're not there yet, we can work on your motivation. Whether it's an alcohol or other drug problem. or difficulties with emotions/moods, trauma, stress management, or interpersonal/relationship problems, there is almost nothing within you now that you can't change or improve if you really want to do it. I find it rewarding to work with clients who understand that change requires some work and they are willing to do that work. I am also experienced with those struggling with chronic Lyme Disease.

I will be providing my clients with therapeutic services to help them identify the obstacles or challenges that get in the way of moving forward in life. Each day is a new day to work and change our mental health, poor coping skills, negative thinking, and/or negative self-talk to better ourselves. Maybe you’re just feeling stuck. Clients are empowered to set the goals they want to work on while tracking the progress of those goals.

I provide individual and group therapy for individuals (age 15+) who are curious about their relationship with substances or ready to stop use.

He believes in a collaborative and solution-focused approach when working with patients. William works towards providing a safe & professional environment for his patients. He is geared toward working collaboratively around building the therapeutic relationship and assisting you in accomplishing your goals. We have immediate openings for weekends and evenings!
