I specialize in couples therapy as well as families with children with special needs. For pre-marital counseling, you will have the opportunity for a detailed assessment and practical approach using Prepare/Enrich for those planning to be married or any couple wanting to enhance their current relationship. You will receive trauma care and grief counseling with an integrative body, mind, and spirit approach.

Mend Counseling aims to serve those seeking a straight forward approach to mental health counseling. The world is complex and each individual struggles with different aspects of life, living within their values, and finding a balance in health. Mend aims to create a meaningful relationship with each person that reaches out for aid to address their specific needs and struggles. I am a psychotherapist working in private practice with a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin, located in Mequon, WI.

I've had the honor of working with people with a history of trauma throughout my life. PTSD, attachment disorder and dissociative disorders are normal responses to being exposed to Traumatic events. This is the way our brains try to protect us from being overwhelmed. We can get stuck feeling like the world is dangerous or the events are still occuring long after the trauma is over. Trauma Counseling helps our brains let go and heal the overwhelming events of our pasts. I truely believe we can heal from anything with the right treatment.
