I provide neuropsychological evaluations to individuals ages 2-25 who are having difficulties at school and at home due to cognitive and/or emotional/behavioral concerns. There may be questions about ADHD, autism, learning disability, anxiety, or other issues, as well as how to address those concerns.

I was introduced to psychology while going through a difficult time as a young college student and seeking the help of a therapist. The experience taught me so much about myself and how to manage my emotions during difficult times that I decided to learn more about the field. One intro to psychology class turned into two more, and then just 12 short years later (with a few twists and turns along the way) I completed my PhD in counseling psychology!

I hold two doctorates one in psychology and a master's degree in clinical mental health care, and professional counseling making me a highly qualified professional counselor, clinician, and therapist. Additionally, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). My expertise lies in providing talk therapy to individuals of all ages, including adolescents, adults, seniors, families, and groups. To ensure the best outcomes for my clients, I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy as an initial approach. This allows me to effectively address their specific situations and circumstances.

Dr. Audrey Oliva is a Psychologist in Missouri who has been practicing since 2019. She completed her Masters of Arts and Doctor of Psychology degrees in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Oliva conducts therapy from a collaborative and values-based approach, tailoring interventions to each individual's needs.

As part of a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, my service includes evaluation of multiple cognitive domains including memory, problem solving/reasoning, visual-spatial processing, language, basic motor skills, emotional status, and assessment of attention and academic functioning (ADHD, LD), as indicated. Findings from the neuropsychological evaluation are used to generate recommendations to assist in treatment planning across a variety of settings as well as suggesting compensatory strategies for any identified cognitive weaknesses and identifying resources for families. I offer timely and thorough evaluations, conduct individualized feedback with families, and provide a summary of the findings and recommendations.

My experience includes forty plus years of marriage and over twenty years of helping couples discover who they are as individuals, and who they are as a couple.
