I most enjoy working with anxiety disorders (including OCD, phobias, and panic disorder), the effects of trauma, as well as LGBTQ clients. The majority of my training as a therapist has been in treating trauma, OCD and generalized anxiety. I am also a native Spanish speaker and love working with immigrant clients. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a form of psychotherapy often used to treat individuals who have difficulty regulating emotions, maintaining relationships and tolerating distress. Based on cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT combines evidence-based strategies from a number of supportive psychotherapies. DBT is a multifaceted approach to emotional regulation. Individuals don’t just build their personal skills but also gain a reliable support system. Individual and group therapy sessions help patients learn and apply their skills with the support of both mental health professionals and an empathetic community.

I am a Psycho/Behavioral Therapist with over 20 years of experience in helping individuals and couples who are suffering from health and mental issues. I trained at both Johns Hopkins psychiatry department and McGill university center for cognition and medicine. In the last couple of year I focus on helping those suffering from chronic pain,depression, anxiety cognitive disorders, eating disorders, weight management and career counselling. Relationships in Crisis: We Have Several Private Couples/Marriage Workshops & Individual Sessions, in order to Rapidly Accelerate Your Healing & Your Communication Process (Traditional 45 min. session Simply Does Not Work). During these 2 to 4 weeks, we will see both of you Together & Individually, as well as Help each of you Learn the Art of Empathy, Sensitivity & Compassion. These Workshops are Informative & Powerful, in order to Accelerate the Healing Process & Stop any further Damage from Occurring. In Addition, Our Success RATE is 85% of Our Couples that have Successfully Completed Our Couples Workshops or Alcohol Treatment.

Dr. Caroline DuCoin, the founder and CEO of the Center for Family and Behavioral Health (CFBH), is a clinical psychologist who has devoted her training and career to mental health treatment and the highest standards of care for children, adolescents, and their families. Prior to founding CFBH, Dr. DuCoin was a supervising psychologist at the Kennedy Krieger Institute where she supervised postdoctoral fellows, doctoral interns, and advanced doctoral students. I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings and can assist families in navigating the mental health system. I have a strong passion for women's issues, specifically Eating Disorders and Postpartum Depression. I have extensive experience working with both of these illnesses.
