I am a licensed professional counselor who is a Christian. I understand how important it is to have a Christian counselor. If this is something you want to integrate into your counseling process, I am able to do this and can use the Bible and your relationship with God to help you with whatever struggles you have. Integrating God and your beliefs is not a requirement to have counseling, but it is something I can offer. I respect your faith and denominational differences. I don’t have an agenda nor am I preachy. I am EAGALA certified.

"Will it always have to be this way? I don't know how much more I can take." This is a statement I hear often from clients when they first come to me. Holding hope for clients until they are able to hold it for themselves is a calling I feel honored to provide. My ideal client is one that has experienced trauma or crisis in their life, usually with their family of origin, struggles in relationships, has experienced anxiety, abandonment, or emotional, verbal, or spiritual abuse. Many times clients say to me they feel like they were not made to fit in this world or no one understands them.

I am a family focused lifestyle and whole foods plant based coach. My hope is to empower caregivers and their families of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds who are looking to make positive changes in their lifestyle. I’m a Masters level practitioner in Special Education with Doctoral Level studies (ABD) in Infant Early Childhood Development with an emphasis on Mental Health and Developmental Disorders. I lost my first husband to cancer while raising a little boy with severe developmental challenges. Those experiences have led me to help families facing multigenerational health issues who are struggling to make sustainable changes.

Seeking professional help can often seem overwhelming and frankly very invasive. My experiences have varied over the years allowing me to understand many areas of focus. I've worked with children, adults and couples. I've trained to be a Life/corporate coach and I am also extensively trained in alternative dispute resolution. I work part time as a court approved mediator helping separating couples with their custody needs. I practice a here and now approach with the use of Brief Solution Focused techniques.
