Hello. I’m an independently licensed Psychotherapist who holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University and a Master's degree from Boston College. I have extensive experience working with adults, couples and adolescents, who may be experiencing a loss of joy in their life due to depression, anxiety, addiction, etc. I use several therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs, and I provide a calming and nurturing environment to ensure that you are comfortable, and feel supported. How will I - a California trained LMFT – be more effective for you? Unlike many Massachusetts counselors based in the “medical model” I don’t treat symptoms, I treat systems. I’ll work with you and partners/spouses or family members, if you choose to include them, to identify not "What’s wrong with me?” but rather, “How'd I get here?” We’re all products of our childhood. I'll work with you to identify the faulty agreements forced upon you before you could defend yourself against them, co-discover alternate viewpoints about yourself and the world and then enact these new agreements to create a new life.

Andrew Belcher (he/him) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over a decade of clinical experience working with school aged kids, parenting families, couples, and individuals to navigate the stress, anxiety, and depression related to big life moments (adolescence, parenting, work, etc.) He specializes in school issues, family planning, infertility, complex pregnancy for birthing and non-birthing parents, and supporting families with children with medical complexity.
