I have a passion for helping people walk through the ups and downs of life. I provide support for adolescents, adults, and couples with anxiety, ADHD, depression, PTSD, sexual assault healing, infidelity, grief and loss, and autism spectrum disorder. I use a trauma-focused approach that blends Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, art therapy, and concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS).
For my couples work, I blend concepts from Gottman, PACT, and the work of Esther Perel. I also love to go on walk and talks with clients when the weather is nice (we can do EMDR while walking!) as well as make use of the whiteboard in my office to map out things in written words and colors.
I have worked in wilderness therapy, at an inpatient therapeutic boarding school, and at a nonprofit supporting families dealing with intimate partner violence.
