Curious about trying EMDR? You've come to the right place. I provide support for children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, ADHD, depression, PTSD, sexual assault healing, infidelity, and grief and loss. I use a trauma-focused approach that is grounded in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Occasionally, I will supplement the work with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, art therapy, and concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I also love to go on walk and talks with clients when the weather is nice (we can do EMDR while walking!) as well as make use of the whiteboard in my office to map out things in written words and colors. For my clients on telehealth, we can do EMDR virtually and my telehealth platform has it's own whiteboard part to it :)
I have worked in wilderness therapy, at an inpatient therapeutic boarding school, and at a nonprofit supporting families dealing with intimate partner violence.
