Dr. Hainstock is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. She is dedicated to helping children and adolescents with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental challenges, while also supporting and coaching parents and caregivers. Makeda James, a clinical social worker and colleague at Behavior Health Partners Great Lakes Bay Region, is dedicated to using proven, individually-tailored strategies to tap into a child's, teen's, or young adult's inert strength and abilities in order to promote positive change and goal achievement.

I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples on a variety of issues. I utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach to therapy where we work on identifying problems and the underlying issues. A treatment plan is developed for each client where we set goals and develop strategies to accomplish the goals. I strive to reduce symptoms, improve coping skills, increase awareness, and increase the client's feeling of control over his or her own life situation.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents, teens, and adults of all ages. I specialize in helping people with depression and anxiety, and have worked with individuals on the autism spectrum, those suffering from trauma and PTSD, and individuals struggling with codependency issues and substance abuse.

Welcome! My name is Kennedi Ruhlman, LMSW, PMH-C. I’m glad you are here, the first step of reaching can be the hardest to take. What I have learned from my experience in the mental health field is that we may be able to walk alone in our struggles, but having someone alongside us is empowering. I strive to walk alongside those that I work with, while giving you full credit in knowing that you were able to reach your full potential. Everyone’s experiences are extremely unique, and I value staying open minded and accepting to each individual I encounter.

Partners in Change provides individual, couples, family, and group therapies to all ages. This team of therapists provide state-of-the-art treatment for a variety of concerns including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, anger management issues, substance abuse, trauma/PTSD, eating disorders, pain services, perinatal/postnatal concerns, as well as marital and familial difficulties, and challenges experienced by emergency responders and public safety officers. I am a fully licensed psychologist in the state of Michigan and provide comprehensive and compassionate diagnostic and psychological treatment to toddlers, children, and teens and their families. I have a passion for guiding individuals to meet their own personal goals to live a happier, more fulfilled life. I have worked with individuals with mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. I have also worked with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
