I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples on a variety of issues. I utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach to therapy where we work on identifying problems and the underlying issues. A treatment plan is developed for each client where we set goals and develop strategies to accomplish the goals. I strive to reduce symptoms, improve coping skills, increase awareness, and increase the client's feeling of control over his or her own life situation.
I provide Psychological Evaluations with children, teens, and adults concerning a variety of issues including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning problems, personality issues, and cognitive functioning with older adults. I also provide evaluations for Adult ADHD.
I also frequently work with clients who are having problems with anxiety, depression, or phase-of-life problems. I utilize relaxation techniques with clients who have anxiety issues. I also work with couples who are having marital issues and communication problems. I also work with parents on enhancing their parenting and management skills.
