My work as a therapist began with my own search for and exploration of meaning, insight and growth. I work in an organic way so that the unique personality, both conscious and unconscious, of each client can come to the forefront. I utilize EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapy as needed. Specialties include, individuals, couples, family therapy and parenting and child/adolescent issues. I practice in the New Orleans area., I have had a psychotherapy practice for over 30 years. I have served on several college and university faculties including having served as an associate professor in psychiatry at Tulane Medical School; a graduate of Tulane University School of Social Work. I have presented original papers at international conferences, am published and have a CD about coping with stress.
