Ms. Williams possesses over 20 years of experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide array of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder as well as Family Relational Difficulties and Peer/Social Difficulties. Ms. Williams has also worked in the school system assisting school administrators and faculty with behavior interventions, co-leading a bereavement group for children, co-facilitating a daily peer leadership class, and maintaining a caseload of students referred for individual counseling.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the state of Louisiana. With a passion for fostering personal growth and mental well-being, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with empathy, support, & empowerment. In my practice, I enjoy helping families whose children are having difficulties in the schooling process. When a child is not doing well in school, there are a multitude of factors that may be getting in the way. I begin with an appropriate evaluation of the child and provide feedback to parents about what I believe is interfering with the child's ability to succeed. From there, I can provide individual intervention with the child and consultation with the parents. Also, it is often important to provide information to the school and have them assist in our plan.

We are all faced with difficult situations and relationships in life. Difficult events and relationships give us opportunities to change. I have treated people with eating disorders for the past 30 years. I work well with Trauma, Sexual Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, Co-Dependency, and Grief. I provide evaluations and treatment for ADHD. I will assist you in exploring your areas of distress and help you develop the coping skills necessary to achieve more self-acceptance.
