Whether you are experiencing sadness, relationship concerns, anxiety, or difficulty with adjustment, the main goal is for you to grow, develop coping skills, and make new meaning out of your experiences, even in the situations which can cause great distress. We may work particularly well together if you're looking to explore your sense of self, identity, social justice concerns, trauma, and relationship challenges.
My approach explores how ideas of self and the world have formed and works towards reframing these ideas to create personal meaning. I strongly believe that society has a profound impact on mental health and individual concerns don't exist in a vacuum. We will create the opportunity to explore, acknowledge, and rework your personal narrative.
We all have many stories to tell in our lives. Some are painful, some are exhausting, and others light up our life. Each of these is essential.
