My name is Courteney Nickodem and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor who has a passion for helping, supporting and encouraging my clients in a direct and result oriented setting. I utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques including: cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered therapy, strength based intervention, as well as an option to provide faith based therapy.

I use modern reliable and effective hypnosis techniques for all of my clients. Using cutting edge hypnosis techniques, I help find the source of the issue and, by using insights to help re-frame it, we are able to help neutralize the emotions associated with it. This helps my clients to live in freedom of the issues that have been holding them back or prevented them from living a fulfilling life.

The idea for New Creation Counseling started years ago as I embarked on my life reclamation. Through my journey a wholehearted desire grew to help those who are hurting and I wanted to provide them with a safe place to heal. I love what I do, it is both my purpose and passion. I describe my working style as being one of a navigator. I help individuals navigate their personal struggles, desires/needs, and blind spots. I encourage my clients to take the steering wheel, while I navigate from the passenger seat. My goal is to ensure you maintain the right path and ultimately reach the desired destination. Ask yourself, am I inching closer, each day towards the best version of my life, or am I on the wrong path and going the wrong way? As far as my approach, my job is to adapt to you and figure out which therapeutic modality will be most effective.

People come to therapy because they want to feel better. It might be relationship problems or anxiety/depression, but whatever the reason, life has become uncomfortable or painful.
