Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy Class
Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RODBT) is a new treatment for patients who suffer from emotional overcontrol. RODBT has been developed over the past 20 years for people with chronic depression, treatment-resistant anxiety, avoidant personality, anorexia, obsessive-compulsive disorders, alcohol dependency, and perfectionist thinking. RODBT focuses on learning three core principles: Openness to feedback, even when challenging. Flexibility in responding to challenges in our environment (including other's behavior). Effective communication of our emotions, recognizing that emotion expression is central to forming strong relationships. RODBT Class in Lexington, Kentucky are Tuesdays 5-7:30pm.
