I am a creative and caring professional holding a master in counseling psychology degree and a certificate in child and adolescent counseling. With a holistic and trauma-informed approach, I treat the whole person with special emphasis on the effects of trauma. I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults. With my previous work in the private sector and art community, I am uniquely qualified to assist individuals with creative challenges or career transitions and concerns.

It takes courage and bravery to ask for help! I am a believer that relationships heal, but also realize that often our closest relationships can cause a lot of pain.

As a mental health professional, I am here to walk with you into the unknown, to listen to your experiences, life changes, tragedies and joys and to listen without judgement. Whether you feel stuck from trauma, anger, navigating career changes, life stage changes, grief or relationship matters I will work with you to find recovery utilizing your strengths and support system. I believe in a fully holistic view of identifying mental health issues that may cause or compound physical ailments and work to release emotions that may cause pain.

Rebecca Reising is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas who has been practicing since 2007. She has a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Kansas University and a Masters of Education from Temple University. Rebecca works predominantly with children, adolescents, and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, and behavioral issues. She also has extensive experience working with parents to provide support and education on parenting strategies to help meet the needs of their struggling child.

I am the founder of Satori Counseling Services and with 20 years of mental health experience, I've worked with several different folks with various challenges, including: men's issues, healing from traumas, depression and anxiety and couples work. I love working with individual clients who are ready to do the work, clients who are seeking answers, clients who are ready to look within and heal deeply. The issues I work most with is trauma, attentional disorders, anxiety, life transitions, identity and grief. My clients range from later adolescents and adults. Often, I integrate spiritual components if clients are open to and feel comforted by utilizing these perspectives. I meet clients where they are, as a social worker, I believe in advocacy and collaboration.

I harbor a profound passion for supporting those within the infertility and pregnancy loss community, aiding individuals dealing with the grief of losing loved ones, including cherished pets. My expertise also extends to assisting individuals contending with complex trauma through EMDR therapy, and I work with children dealing with anxiety disorders as well as anger management. I am very proficient in Spanish, and can see both Spanish and English speakers.

My background in trauma and addiction sheds new insight to old behaviors providing the self-awareness needed to navigate day-to-day experiences. I believe change is possible for all of us, and I have seen that change develop in many clients over the course of a collaborative treatment. I believe that, working together, we can develop a rich and fulfilling understanding of each client’s personality. I'm trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, and I use that frame to provide an environment that promotes awareness and growth. I have also used components of cognitive behavioral and dialectic behavioral services in outpatient group therapy, and I blend these tools with the psychodynamic frame to provide an individualized approach.

Ellie Mental Health is a growing practice that aims to make mental health care accessible and decrease the stigma related to seeking support and taking care of ourselves. Kristen has a Master's degree in Social Work and is a board-certified Licensed Master Level Social Worker in the state of Kansas. She has experience providing services to a variety of individuals, particularly children, and adolescents, and enjoys helping others while using a strengths-based and person-centered approach. She has experience working with children and adolescents who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety/depression, and family conflict.
