Therapy is a process that promotes exploration and self-discovery. We all live with internal challenges that may have been caused by external stressors. Sometimes in life we need to really set aside time to slow down, take a look at ourselves and attempt to answer the question “Who are you?” Many of us define our lives by our occupation yet the answer to this question goes much deeper. Who we are as individuals can dictate how we deal with stress, how we make decisions and even how we take care of ourselves.
In treatment, we identify which therapeutic modality fits your needs. Through assessment, we determine what the mode of treatment will be: CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR or Nature-Based Therapy. I'm also a Certified Mindfulness Informed Professional. My goal is to help my client participate in their treatment as they move towards self-sufficiency.
