Hello! My name is Jarad and I'm a licensed clinical social worker. My specialty and passion are to work with children and families experiencing conflict. My particular specialty is working with parents and children to resolve in-home conflict and unwanted behaviors, as well as helping children and adults process grief, trauma, stress, and anxiety.
I like for my clients to see me as a guide more than anything. My approach has allowed me to work successfully with children and families as well as with highly motivated adults who are experiencing stress, sadness, anxiety, and others who are ready to make change.
Therapy can be scary. Being vulnerable isn’t always easy. I try to be as casual as possible when we’re speaking. I rarely use jargon or “therapist speak.” I probably won’t focus on a diagnosis in session unless it’s helpful.
