It can be difficult to find a dedicated space in which you can safely process your experiences. I would consider it a privilege to try and build that trust with you. As a therapist, it is my responsibility to ground myself in curiosity and humility as I bear witness to your life's navigations. Whether that be pleasure, anxiety, identity, interpersonal dynamics, chronic stress, life transitions, personal or sociopolitical heartbreaks- we can explore your experience together. Through connection and collaboration, we can rewrite and expand the stories we tell ourselves and those told to us, allowing for more room to breathe.

Being alive is infinitely complicated. It's wonderful, embarrassing, scary, and exciting. Aliveness can mean so many different things to each person based on their past experiences of self, family, relationships, and systems. In my therapeutic practice, I hold space for this infinite variance, and the struggle to know and communicate it to others. I also maintain a fundamental belief in the possibility and power of connection. Connection allows people to inhabit themselves and their relationships in new ways. It allows for exploration of emotions and desires, and a growing capacity for self-awareness and self-integration.

Life is about feeling connected, sharing in the joys and sorrows, and striving for something better, a better you. Therapy is a place where you can share and explore the challenges and achievements that make each of us an individual. I believe that forming a safe, non-judgmental relationship is fundamental to therapy and what guides the healing process. We work together in order to gain insight and learn healthy coping skills in managing challenges faced and the feelings associated with them. I believe that the most difficult job is working on ourselves but it is also the most rewarding.

I work with people who think deeply but feel stuck. My clients are often high-achieving, perceptive adults who can analyze everything yet struggle to access their actual emotional experience. They’re exhausted by old patterns: choosing partners who can’t meet them, reacting intensely to small triggers, intellectualizing instead of feeling, or swinging between independence and longing. Many grew up with unpredictable, critical, or emotionally distant caregivers; others function well everywhere except in their closest relationships.

I help individuals connect mind, body, and spirit. You've worked hard and have come a long way. On the outside everything seems fine, but on the inside there's the worry, tension, self-doubt, or the deep grief. You feel it in your heart and in your body. You're not sure where to start, but what you do know is that something has to change. Therapy can help. If you’re wanting to feel more grounded, more secure, more authentic, and more connected to others, to your work, or to your art, let’s talk.

You've been carrying so much for so long-the racing, thoughts, the heavy days, feelings of hopelessness, the pressure to keep going when you feel like you're running on empty. Anxiety, depression, past trauma, OCD or adult ADHD may make life feel exhausting. And for some, the weight is compounded by the impact of systemic oppression, making it harder to feel safe, seen or understood. You may feel stuck in patterns you can't quite break or caught in cycles passed down through generations. You might be seeking relief from constant stress, clarity about who you are, or a path toward feeling more in control of your life.

Something deep inside you knows there’s more to this life—more ease, clarity, and purpose. Yet, something keeps holding you back. Old patterns, invisible barriers, limiting beliefs. Maybe you’ve tried everything—mindset shifts, self-help, therapy—yet still feel stuck.
What if your struggles aren’t obstacles but messages? Signposts guiding you toward something greater?
I practice Holographic Psychotherapy, which blends neuroscience, ancient wisdom, and consciousness work to help you break free from unconscious patterns and step into your highest potential.

My clients are always in the process of becoming. You are naturally curious, yet you seem to hit "walls" that you can never overcome by yourself. You are seeking new heights and possibilities, yet struggle to shake off the weight of guilt and shame. You feel narrowed in and defined by some force other than yourself, whether that be cultural or familial, but you are open towards meaning and purpose beyond what is familiar. You want to be truly 'you' across different contexts and spaces - confident of who 'you' are no matter what has been said about you.

Upon starting a new therapeutic journey, I always share that through this process, we will change the idea of “why is this happening to me” to “everything is going according to plan.” As we get started, the first order of business is to construct an environment where you can feel seen, heard, and safe throughout this journey of self-discovery. The goal is to meet you where you are, so we can get you where you want to be. We will accomplish this by taking an integrative approach to facilitate personal growth and healing by identifying themes, unresolved conflicts, and behavioral patterns.

Is everyone in the Psychology Today Therapy Directory a licensed therapist?
The Psychology Today directory lists providers who offer legitimate mental health services to the public, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors.
Many have been licensed by the country or state where they practice; providers whose license or primary credential has been verified by Psychology Today are signified by a “Verified” symbol. Some clinicians or organizations provide services for which their state or country does not offer licenses, such as pastoral counseling. They may be selectively included without the “Verified” seal.

What’s the difference between a psychologist, a therapist, and a counselor?
Therapists, psychologists, and counselors are all licensed mental health professionals. In the US, psychologists have earned a doctoral degree. The terms “therapist” and “counselor” are used somewhat interchangeably, but generally therapists offer longer-term, mental health care, while counselors offer shorter-term care that may focus on one domain, such as marriage, career, or academic challenges.
Clients should consider factors such as insurance coverage and their primary reason(s) for seeking therapy to determine the type of professional best suited to their needs. Someone struggling with mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety, for example, may wish to seek out a clinical psychologist or therapist, while someone navigating career obstacles or marital upheaval may benefit from seeing a counselor who can offer short-term, targeted support.

What type of therapy is right for me?
The type of therapy best suited to a particular individual depends on several factors, including their primary reason for seeking therapy, their preferred timeline (some therapy types last for a set number of sessions, while others are open-ended), and their personality and preferences—some may prefer a more structured approach. For many individuals, multiple types of therapy could provide a good fit.
How much does therapy cost?
The cost of therapy depends on a number of variables, including location and the therapist’s experience and training. On average, a therapy session in the United States could cost between $100 and $200 or more. If you have insurance, the expense of mental health care is typically lower, but it varies based on your insurance plan details and whether you choose an in-network or out-of-network mental healthcare provider.
What are more affordable or low cost therapy solutions?
Many therapists offer sliding scale payments, usually on a limited number of slots, which consists in an agreement between the therapist and a client to pay a reduced rate. Therapists who provide such arrangements often consider the client's income or ability to pay, but the extent of the discount is ultimately at the therapist's discretion. Furthermore, while group therapy may have different goals and benefits compared to individual therapy, it can be a more affordable solution to address certain types of issues.
Is online therapy cheaper than in-person therapy?
Many therapists charge the same amount for online therapy as they do for in-person therapy—though clients may still find this cost-effective if it cuts down on their transportation costs. Health insurance plans often offer equivalent coverage for online and in-person therapy; indeed, in many places, they are legally required to do so. Text-based or on-demand therapy apps may be cheaper than traditional one-on-one psychotherapy; however, the practice may be less effective and is not likely to be covered by insurance.
Is online therapy a good option?
Therapy conducted online can be just as effective as in-person therapy, as long as there is a strong alliance between the client and the therapist. To find a therapist who provides telehealth services to clients in your area, click “Online Therapy” on the directory homepage and search by your city or town or your zip code.
Are therapy sessions confidential?
Confidentiality is a crucial part of the therapeutic relationship. Therapists in the United States are bound by the regulations set out by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), which aims to protect sensitive health information. With very few exceptions, a therapist will only discuss their client with others when the client has given their written permission. The instances in which a therapist would be required to disclose personal information are: if a client poses a danger to themselves or others, if the therapist suspects the abuse of a child or an elderly or otherwise dependent adult, or if they are legally forced to by court order. These exceptions to the confidentiality agreement are usually discussed with a client before their first session.
