As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, it is truly my privilege to witness the kind of strength needed to find therapy. I have special appreciation for the (often painful) moment when your present becomes harder than the fear that comes with change. I try to approach all that I do with compassion, curiosity, and with a deep appreciation for our shared humanity.

My desired families are those that love Jesus and want to grow in their faith. Of course, I would love and accept all clients despite religious/philosophical preferences. I have extensive experience working with couples, individuals/couples coping with trauma, coping with a phase of life, addictions, and men's issues. The single most important attribute I can provide, higher than the philosophy and the techniques of counseling, I genuinely care about every individual that steps into my care. We all need a support system that cares for our needs and can point us in the right direction when we are surrounded by darkness.

I am a compassionate trauma-informed therapist that primarily works with individuals struggling with trauma/PTSD, ADHD, neurodivergent issues, relationship issues, chronic pain, physical disability, partner violence, substance abuse, anxiety, stress, depression, cultural identity, cultural/intergenerational conflicts, family conflicts, and other issues. As a daughter of South Asian immigrants, I have always been interested in working with traditionally overlooked communities. I have worked with individuals with dual diagnosis, domestic violence survivors, veterans, and LGBTQIA individuals.

We're a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive mental health counseling group for multicultural, Asian, BIPOC, immigrants, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized communities. We're passionate about working with individuals, couples and families from different cultural backgrounds, exploring how complex identities and unique personal experiences have shaped us into who we are. We specialize in healing from anxiety, complex trauma, relationship issues, perinatal issues, ADHD, adoption, OCD, stress, cultural identity, cultural/intergenerational conflicts, family conflicts, grief, and other issues.

When we started Pillars we quickly realized that to best help our clients we needed to partner with clinicians with diverse backgrounds and skills. We have remained steadfast in our efforts to create a team of clinicians with a varied specializations, so that we can be sure to effectively serve our clients and our community.

I work with individual adults and couples and am passionate about serving marginalized communities through a social justice advocacy lens. As a former “parachute kid” who started living abroad on my own as a teenager, I understand the complications of establishing one’s cultural identity while struggling to find meaning or belonging. I have experience working in different mental health settings with varying levels of needs, ranging from stress, trauma, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, relationship and intimacy, identity development, racial and cultural issues, neurodivergent issues, to suicidal ideation and/or past attempts.
