Stan Antonelli III is a Licensed and Academy Certified Psychotherapist and Clinical Addiction Specialist. Stan specializes in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. He has extensive experience treating incarcerated adult offenders as well as those struggling with anger management issues. Stan has advanced training in CBT, TF-CBT, Adoption-Competent Therapy, and the Minnesota Model of Addiction. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University and Andrews University in psychology, sociology, and clinical social work. He is a PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) candidate.

I have experience working with grief/loss, sadness/depression, anxiety/stress, trauma, anger issues, addictions, ADHD and individuals and families in transition. I enjoy working with a variety of individuals that are looking to find freedom from the issues that are currently holding them back in life. My primary hope is to help individuals and families to find wholeness, freedom and encouragement as they move through their life journey.

I have been working with people who are struggling with a variety of mental health concerns for over 20 years. I enjoy working with my clients to identify the best course for them to achieve and maintain day to day success.

I am passionate about my work and I have experience with a variety of conditions including addiction, anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, family problems and more. While I am specifically interested in guiding children ages 3-11 who present with trauma, mood disorders, and/or disruptive externalizing behaviors towards a place of emotional regulation, I have worked with adolescents, adults, and adults older than the age of 65.

I work best with people who are feeling chained down by their self-esteem, whether that be from their self-talk or external factors such as family, friends, or society. Anyone who is looking to improve their life overall, even if they do not know what that looks like. People who are seeking to heighten their intuition and prioritize growth. I have a special passion for the LGBTQ+ community and am a gay-identifying therapist. I also specialize in mindfulness, grief, and oncology. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy which allows people to quickly process trauma and other negative experiences in a short amount of time.
