While I am specifically interested in guiding children ages 3-11 who present with trauma, mood disorders, and/or disruptive externalizing behaviors towards a place of emotional regulation, I have worked with adolescents, adults, and adults older than the age of 65.
I have specialized in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, child behavioral problems, attachment issues, and within the family system. I often utilize client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, play, and family therapy techniques to help clients explore well-being and find balance as they learn and grow.
My aim is to meet every individual or family at their level and my treatment approach is personalized to each client. By aiming to take an unconditional, empathetic, and genuine stance with my clients, their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are accepted and validated. Please feel free to reach out to come into alignment with the self you would like to be.

Treatment will usually consist of whatever therapeutic techniques would best serve you and your needs. I would use a variety of empirically supported treatment, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) or ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), to teach coping skills and ways to shift thinking and behaving. For children specifically, I may also use directive and nondirective play therapy.

I often use an eclectic blend of therapy modalities to best treat your concerns. A typical session might include exploring ways to find alternative explanations to beliefs, developing a behavioral plan to reduce undesired behaviors, or practicing coping strategies together to reduce distress. If working with children, play based techniques, e.g. playing a board game, may occur to teach a skill.
