Traditional talk therapy has been proven highly effective, so we combine this with meditation based therapy and somatic psychology to make it even better. I have been in the counseling field for over 10 years and I use an eclectic approach to counseling and performance skills coaching. I specialize in clients with PTSD, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and relationship issues. I also specialize in athletes that are looking to improve their performance, become elite, or struggling to perform.

I have over 30 years experience providing outpatient therapy and providing integrated psychological services in a large area hospital system. I specialize in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine. With an emphasis on behavioral health using supportive, cognitive-behavioral therapy, I see patients with anxiety, stress, depression, chronic pain and fibromyalgia, eating disorders, weight loss, smoking cessation, headaches, marital discord, family discord, issues of aging, grief and loss, the psychological aspects of cancer treatment, coping with medical conditions, and managing diabetes. I am also a DBT therapist.

My experience in social services consists of 20+ years of growth, first as a case manager and Social Svc. Director prior to licensure, then clinical experience as a child and family therapist in community mental health, an LCSW in an small group practice, and now my own practice since February 2016. I have extensive knowledge working with people living with grief/loss, Childhood trauma, Depression, Anxiety/Panic disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, and Personality disorders. I am experienced and passionate about working with First Responders, Military, Medical Professional, and anyone that has had traumatic experiences.

As a body-inclusive psychotherapist, I am passionate about a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy. I believe the integration of mind, body, and spirit in a safe, therapeutic setting can provide profound opportunities for healing. I have experience working with those desiring help with issues related to trauma and abuse, stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, parenting, mood management, and grief/loss. I enjoy working with a diverse clientele including adolescents and emerging adults.

I am most interested in the transitions of life as well as the accompanying feelings, opportunities and losses that these bring about. Together we will work on clarifying your needs and goals while we can explore the steps needed to bring your life back into balance. Each stage and choice in life brings about unique challenges. I have many years of experience working with couples to heal their relationships, as well as working with individuals who are going through life-stage transitions. I enjoy helping people navigate through pivotal moments such as children launching, loss of a loved one, retirement, and caring for aging parents. I provide services via telehealth/video, allowing you to receive quality therapy services from where you are most comfortable.

I have 26 years experience in the provision of therapy in an outpatient setting to treat a diverse array of presenting problems. I assist clients in problem solving more productive and healthier ways to cope with their unique challenges. A guiding principal in my work is to aid clients in achieving congruence between the person they wish to be and the person they are, thereby continually striving for authenticity. I wish to aid my clients in achieving their fullest potential in order to live gratifying lives personally and professionally.

She also works with therapists looking to deepen their own personal process to increase their efficacy and joy in their work as a therapist.
