I am a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for working with pre-teens, teens and young adults. This passion developed during my several years working within the child welfare system of Nebraska. I worked alongside children and families during traumatic life events helping them navigate through their experiences. Life is hard, with many roadblocks that can reveal difficult thoughts, feelings, and emotions you are unsure how to cope with. Bridget DeLuca, PsyD, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has been practicing since 2017. She graduated from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University - Schaumburg with a master's and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Bridget believes in an Integrative Approach when working with Clients. She tends to begin with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strength-based supportive approach, but tailors each session to each individual person as not everything works the same on everyone.

We have been providing psychological services to McHenry County for nearly two decades. Our therapists have a diverse range of experience and evidence-based approaches, which allows them to connect with our clients. We pride ourselves on being flexible, creative, and "out of the box" thinkers in order to meet the needs of individuals in a very personalized manner. We believe treatment is a team approach and we are here to walk with our clients on their path to wellness. Many life situations can be overwhelming and it is easy to let that become an obstacle stopping you from reaching new heights in life. To help with this, I utilize mostly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as incorporating a great deal of mindfulness into treatment plans. I enjoy exploring exercises, such as skill-building techniques or meditation, to provide clients with daily practices for outside of the therapy room to continue their process of growth & development.

I have a passion for working with younger people who are experiencing many of life's firsts: first love, first heartache, first time leaving home, etc. I have taught a court ordered class on Parenting Through Divorce for more than 20 years and have helped many children and adults through that intense life transition. More recently I have worked with people who are struggling with a different life transition--those who are entering their "third act" of life and considering developing new meaning and satisfaction in life after they have launched their children.

Anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, depression, judgement from others, and grief can create barriers in our minds and hearts, but it doesn't have to remain that way. My clients want to recover their strengths, feel more joy, and face their life situations with more confidence. We all want to feel empowered to pursue the life they really want, so we address those issues together. I enjoy working with pre-teens and up through seniors from all cultures, traditions, backgrounds, and orientations.

Denene Lewis has been working in the mental health field for over 25 years and has been providing counseling services for 20+ years. Her approach is integrative and individualized to meet each client’s needs. The goal is to assist clients in reaching their full potential through education, teaching, and modeling skills while helping them identify barriers that prevent change.
