I really enjoy working with people who are willing to take on some out-of-session work and return with insights or at least insight about what's not working. I see my job as helping to remove barriers to the experience of feeling whole, safe and complete and I have many tools to help remove those barriers. Our job will be to find the Centered Self and learn ways to return to that Self more often during the day as we can.

Hi, my name is Tacy. I absolutely love what I do and it is a privilege to be a witness to others’ healing and mental health journeys. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and therapist who specializes in PTSD, addiction, adolescents, family and couples therapy. I have years of experience working with veterans, active duty military and their families. I have worked with individuals, families and couples from almost every walk of life and situation imaginable.

Reaching out for help when life keeps on going is the first step to healing. I work with adolescents and adults in a telehealth platform to meet you where you are at. I am able to provide therapy to individuals, couples, and groups in Idaho and Utah and have extended hours to meet you exactly where you are at in your journey. My area of expertise is working with clients for the treatment of grief and loss, end-of-life and life transitions, disease prognosis and coping with illness, caregivers for children with disabilities, anxiety, depression, trauma, family disruption/conflict, and AFCC informed therapy.

I am gifted in working with children, teens and adults especially those struggling with grief, trauma, parental separations, and anxiety. I believe kids/people are resilient in dealing with these events if given the opportunity to do so. Children/teens often just need the unencumbered help of an empathetic adult, I offer this through play therapy sessions. I also work with adults in navigating issues such as anger, grief, parenting, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

It is possible to actively increase our self-efficacy and not be controlled or dictated to by our pasts. Sometimes we need help from others to not sink into self-doubt.
