Dr. Michelle Lake is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Qualified Supervisor in Florida. She is also an Industrial Organizational Psychologist. She received her Master's Degree in Counselor Education with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership with a Specialization in Human Resources. Dr. Lake has devoted her life to helping others make positive changes in their lives. We all face obstacles and sometimes feel like we do not have the strength to overcome these obstacles. However, within each human spirit, is the power to thrive and overcome life's challenges.

My goal is to give time, attention and direction, focusing on what is in the best interest for my clients. I am direct, focused and insight oriented. The purpose of therapy is to create positive changes, to enhance ones sense of self and to find manageable and empowering solutions to life's challenges. I am a Christian counselor who works with clients that are experiencing difficulty with depression, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, family issues, marital issues, and more. I work with all age groups and diverse populations. The ideal client is the client who seeks help for their problem. I use a mix of many theories to treat clients depending on individual needs. I work with children and adults to address almost any need and believe there is no "one size fits all" type of counseling.
