I am a licensed psychotherapist, certified eating disorder specialist, certified school counselor, and certified trauma therapist, with two decades of successes treating individuals, couples, and families. I am also a media subject-expert, author, speaker, and program pioneer, and presently oversee four mental health treatment centers. I bring to the therapy room twenty years of field expertise, lived experience in parenting, mental health, and expert knowledge of navigating school systems, workforces, family systems, and relationships, with confidence, grace, and ease. My clients are my superhero, and my reason.

I specialize in administering neuropsychological evaluations in order to clarify my client's cognitive strengths & weaknesses, emotional symptoms, and personality. This is a comprehensive evaluation that allows me to provide my clients with specific recommendations and a treatment plan. I work with individuals who are going through a major transition in their life that is typically related to a medical diagnosis (e.g. Alzheimer's disease, Post-Concussive Disorder) but it could also involve other stressors, including health issues and academic or occupational difficulties.

I have extensive experience conducting individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy as well as a range of psychological assessments. My areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of psychological disorders including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, and substance abuse disorders. My theoretical orientation is integrative, as I strongly believe that therapeutic interventions should be specifically tailored to the needs of each individual.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who enjoys helping individuals with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, eating problems, existential and grief issues, and difficulty in relationships. I also specialize in behavioral medicine and the treatment of sleep disorders, chronic pain, smoking cessation, trouble with behavior modification, and stressors related to managing a chronic illness. Having worked with individuals, couples and families in both hospital and private practice settings, I welcome the opportunity to help you find creative and innovative solutions to living a balanced life.

I feel that my clients can reach their potential. I am very open minded, empathetic and conscientious in working together with clients who I will go to great lengths for, to help them reach their potential. I work with clients to resolve issues that cause them to feel depressed and anxious. This could include self esteem or relationships issues such codependence, boundary or communication. Clint's discomfort could also emanate from addictions which either be related to substances or behaviors. I also help my clients to resolve past traumas, which could include sexual, physical or emotional abuse which are still affecting their lives today.

It is not always easy to make changes, and change can be scary, but once you put your words into action, the change can be beautiful. I have worked with people who struggle with substance use issues, depression, anxiety, and families. I have a passion for working with people in the BiPOC community. I want my clients to believe in themselves and what they can accomplish without needing external validation. My goal is for you to feel confident in your decision-making to process your needs/issues without relying on others.

Truly knowing oneself is an integral part of the lifelong journey toward self actualization. Unfortunately, stigma discourages many from taking advantage of our profession.

I have experience in a variety of clinical modalities, that include individual, family, adult and elder care consultations, as well as numerous therapeutic groups. My clinical approach is integrative and eclectic. I am a board certified PTSD counselor as well as an EMDR, Mindfulness, Grief and Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease certified therapist.
