An excellent adjunct to 12-step-based support groups, this open group is perfect for those looking to address their personal concerns with substances and/or addiction in a supportive environment of like-minded peers. The group follows a harm reduction model, which is evidence-based and grounded in utilizing psychosocial support, along with a range of positive health practices aimed at reducing risk. Although encouraged, sobriety and abstinence are not required to join. Offered both in-person and via videoconference, the group is open to women and men, ages 18 and up.
