I am a psychotherapist in private practice located in Boca Raton providing in person and Telehealth services in Florida as well as Telehealth services in Utah. My extensive experience includes but is not limited to working with adolescents and adults, including emotion regulation, mood disorders, bereavement, medical trauma, and clinical PTSD and suicidal ideation. Specialized individual and group therapy as well as psycho-educational groups have been my continued focus to guide individuals in processing and healing their trauma. Therapeutic approaches are individualized to the needs and sensitivity of each client.

My clients are mostly adult males, 35 - 65 yrs old, struggling with anxiety , internal conflicts and existential issues. Usually they seek my services through the recommendation of a doctor, following a panic attack or a severe anxiety episode that led them to the hospital. Some experience their anxiety as a knot in the throat, problem breathing, racing heart, psychosomatic problems (physical discomfort), intrusive thoughts, sleep disturbance, a disconnect from loved ones. I am trained to assist a person understand what informs their emotional experience, identify their contradictions and connect the dots. Recovery as integration.

She provides individual, couples and family therapy for teens, young adults, adults and older adults. Dr. Charette has specialized training and experience in helping patients transition to parenthood and cope with infertility, pregnancy-related concerns and postpartum depression, anxiety & OCD.

I've been a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Florida for the past 12 years. I graduated summa cum laude from Barry University with a Master of Social Work. I've worked in different areas of practice, including community mental health, addictions, and with children and families. I have a special place in my heart for helping adults in their 20's, 30's and 40's, parents of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and individuals with anxiety and depression. I strive to be my most authentic self and when appropriate, sprinkle in some humor into our sessions.
