I am a licensed professional counselor who received my masters level training at Oral Roberts University in Christian Counseling. I have 19 years of experience and have worked exclusively in private practice for the last 14 years. I also teaching undergraduate courses at Lubbock Christian University. I currently work with ages 12 and up. My most recent training has focused in the area of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Internal Family Systems. Before working exclusively in private practice I worked at The Ranch At Dove Tree with addictions. I am currently working on my doctorate in counselor ed.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 8 years of experience in providing mental health and behavioral counseling. I have worked with individuals ages 14 to adult with a variety of mental health/behavioral presenting issues such as: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance abuse, anger management, vocational concerns, relationship and family issues, transitioning from high school to college, and many more. As a standard practice, I approach the therapeutic relationship with an acute sensitivity and respect for multi/cross-cultural factors and influence.

I have worked with a wide range of clients who have experienced trauma in their lives either through abuse, sexual assaults, or death of close friends and family. One of my specialties is assisting individuals find peace with their experiences and overcoming anxiety and stress brought on life events. I also often work with clients who are in the process of deconstructing their faith and can offer a nonjudgment place to discuss concerns in this area of life. I am also trained in EMDR therapy.

Life can be difficult to navigate and we all can use an empathetic ear and encouraging word, I hope to be that for my clients. Facing big life changes, anxiety, depression, loneliness, bullying, panic attacks, and other difficulties can be debilitating and even scary. As a mom I know how difficult it can be to watch your child struggle with any issue they may face. I have ten years of experience working in a residential care setting where I provided relational and emotional regulation and processing to adolescents and their families. I am skilled at offering insight that assists the family or individual in processing difficult situations.
