I am a licensed professional counselor who received my masters level training at Oral Roberts University in Christian Counseling. I have 19 years of experience and have worked exclusively in private practice for the last 14 years. I also teaching undergraduate courses at Lubbock Christian University. I currently work with ages 12 and up. My most recent training has focused in the area of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Internal Family Systems. Before working exclusively in private practice I worked at The Ranch At Dove Tree with addictions. I am currently working on my doctorate in counselor ed.
Shelley's therapeutic approach provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Some approaches she utilized regularly are IFS, ideas from CBT, ideas from DBT, and EMDR.
Currently I accept United Healthcare, United Behavioral Health, Optum, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Multiplan, PHCS, BCBS, UMR, team choice, Baylor Scott and white, FirstCare, and IMS, My out of pocket rate is $95 per 55 minute session. Please email me if you would like to become a client.
