I am a licensed professional counselor who received my master's level training at Oral Roberts University in Christian Counseling. I have 21 years of experience and have worked exclusively in private practice for the last 15 years. I also teach undergraduate and graduate courses at Lubbock Christian University. I currently work with ages 12 and up. I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I am also a level 1 internal family systems therapist. Before working exclusively in private practice, I worked at The Ranch At Dove Tree with addictions. I am currently working on my doctorate in counselor ed.
Shelley's therapeutic approach provides support and practical feedback to help clients address personal life challenges effectively. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Some approaches she utilized regularly are internal family systems and EMDR.
