Everyone has their own unique story and I will work to understand yours. I work with a variety of people including individuals, couples and families from a wide variety of professions, family situations, race, age and religious affiliations. Some of the issues I have experience and success working with are sexual dysfunction, infidelity, communication issues, trauma, and mental disorders. My approach looks at the entire person and the “system” in and surrounding them. I examine elements of people’s lives like their physical well-being, emotional coping and conflict resolution skills.

Shannon Cantu M.S. is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the State of Texas. She received her degree at University of Walden, in Marriage, Family, and Couple’s Counseling, with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis. Shannon’s passion is working with couples, individuals, LGBTQ and adolescents in a variety of issues; anxiety, depression, relationship issues, infidelity, low self-esteem, PTSD, grief, domestic and sexual abuse. She believes in providing a safe and nonjudgmental space for her clients.

Dr. Gonzalez and his associates treat adults, adolescents, children, and families who have a wide range of presenting problems. We have particular interests in eating disorders, relationship issues, including couples therapy, mood disorders, anxiety, sexual dysfunction and addiction, ADHD, LGBT issues, testing and evaluations for INS. At the Houston Center for Training & Supervision, Robin aims to help couples work through differences in a manner that honors the wellbeing of each individual as a whole. The initial screening is $185.00. The 8 sessions are $175.00 each payable in two payments of $700.00.
