I have found my calling to become a social worker out of desire and passion to help people live a fulfilling and balance life. My life experience includes years of committed motherhood, care givers for 34 years to a brother who has intellectual disabilities. I have a deep belief in the restorative powers of self-knowledge, self-acceptance and unconditional love. With open for support, and extensive-self exploration of the healing process I have walked away my own PTSD having survive six years Refugee Camp.

I have been assisting individuals, couples, groups and families navigate the difficulties that accompany Substance Abuse/Dependence, Dual-Diagnosis, Narcissistic Abuse Survivor Recovery and relationship difficulties for over 20 years. My experience supporting and guiding clients through theses life experiences has taught me that what we can usually expect to find beneath these presenting behaviors can be a mix of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, betrayal, trauma and stress. This is what creates unmanageability. Together we will design healthy coping skills and boundaries in order to create awareness and restore manageability.

I enjoyed working for the Meadows Ranch in Wickenburg, Az and being able to provide therapies to women who are struggling with eating disorders, addictions, dual diagnosis, PTSD, family trauma, struggling in their marriage and other relationships. I have a passion for helping others and feel blessed when others allow me to assist them in their journey to recovery and meeting goals they have to pursue a better life or to improve their mental health and relationships. I am a LPCC with experience with Substance Use Disorder . I accept Mental Health only clients as well as those with Dual Diagnosis. Most often I explore with my clients to find the destructive elements in their lives. Together we then form a practice that becomes constructive and effective for the desired changes.

My desire as a therapist is to support clients in their journey to a more authentic, fulfilling, and hope-filled life. The therapy style I utilize is supportive yet direct. I strive to guide clients to gain insight into the causes of their challenges. I am adept in working with a wide range of conditions such as anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, trauma, dual- diagnosis, self-esteem, and couples counseling. Loss of jobs, relationships, chemical addiction, life transitions, trauma, abuse and the stress of day to day living come with an array of thoughts and emotions, which at some points in our lives can become overwhelming. We start to feel like nothing can get better, and began to self destruct or stay stuck, out of fear of the unknown or poor habits. My goal is to best assist and support people in living authentic, balanced lives; navigating increased self-awareness in social systems, past experiences, core beliefs and thoughts and their influence on our daily emotional states, behaviors and actions.

Life is a journey, not a destination. I want to support you in your evolution as a human being. I have experience treating individuals with a wide range of mental and behavioral health issues such as addiction, depression, anxiety, anger management, sexual identity, out of control sexual behavior, trauma and self esteem related issues. During that time, I have engaged in group therapy, individual therapy, intensive outpatient therapy, and standard outpatient therapy, in addition to assisting and training other clinicians to become independently licensed as a supervisor for the state of Arizona.
