I work with adults and adolescents struggling with issues such as eating disorders, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, and/or family conflict. I have worked at all levels of care and practice in both Spanish and English.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University. I have training in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and psychodynamic therapy.
As your therapist, my commitment is to meet you where you are with compassion, hope, and authenticity. I will validate and challenge you where appropriate. I believe in the power of connection and self-compassion as paths towards uprooting learned and internalized shame. I see healing and growth as a return to our own selves, and our inherent resilience.
