5/2/24 update: I have two intake appts for new clients tomorrow, 5/3/24, 12:30pm & 4pm. Call our intake scheduler; the call takes 15 minutes to schedule appt & verify insurance. I work with young adults (ages 18-34) & women in midlife (35-50ish) with depression or anxiety, blending therapeutic approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS). I prefer to work with clients who are in touch (or want to be in touch) with their inner world of thoughts, feelings, & internal dialogue. We will nurture your inner parts that need to be known, understood, & tended and identify patterns that cycle through your relationships & self-concept.
We'll look at your mental health challenges in context of your relationships, self-identity, trauma, family roles, religious influence or challenges, life transitions and more. With a background enriched by learning (including an undergrad, two master's degrees, post-grad certificates, and two counseling credentials) I bring a passion for growth and change.
Navigating a household with four kids, ten to 20, I intimately understand the intricacies of balancing all of life. In my downtime, I play chauffeur to my kids, devise creative ways to coax my teens from their bedrooms, practice yoga with my partner, walk our dogs, or simply enjoy a coffee & good book outdoors while neighbors browse our free little library.
