Do you feel tired of old patterns that inhibit your fun and connection in life? Would you like to have tools to cope with your anxieties and stresses and make the changes you desire? I have over 35 years experience in helping individuals bring attention to their issues to gain insight and acceptance--allowing for change and growth. My first session with individuals/couples will help you clarify your needs and create goals for our work. With couples, I will help you each take responsibility for your own issues; supporting better communication, more enjoyment and greater connectedness in your partnership.
My specialties include marriage counseling, couples communication, parenting, multigenerational healing, grief and loss, life transitions, adolescent girls, anxiety/fears, codependency and self-care. My focus on relationship issues includes addressing conflicts between partners, grown children with parents, or between friends of all ages and stages in life.
I have worked in hospice care for seven years, taught parenting classes for six years at Parent's Place and did "Raising Competent Daughter" workshops in S.F. grade schools for parents and teachers. My focus has also included extensive training in couples work; including communication and negotiation.
