I specialize in play therapy and counseling for children, adolescents, and caregivers. I am continuously impressed by my clients' resiliency and the hard job of being a parent. I utilize a variety of empirically-supported therapeutic approaches in order to help facilitate long-lasting change. I find the relationship with my clients to be a crucial part of the healing process, and I work with compassion, empathy, and authenticity to help guide families through life's ups and downs. I am also a board-approved supervisor and offer LPC and RPT supervision to newly or provisionally licensed therapists.
I've been in private practice since 2014. Previously, I worked as a school-based therapist specializing in play therapy with elementary age students and was a counselor for teens in a residential treatment home. I now enjoy working with ages 4-21 to build confidence, resiliency, and emotional-intelligence.
To help create strong therapeutic relationships, I believe in providing a safe and supportive environment for children and their families to ensure they feel heard and accepted. My office is a warm and inviting space where kids can be fully themselves.
