I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor with 17 years of clinical experience, 10 years of business management experience, and 23 years of parenting experience. The concentration of my work is with children, adolescents, and families. I am fortunate to have worked in foster care, psychiatric inpatient care, and outpatient settings with these populations. My practice is equipped with a therapeutic play room and I provide services for children as young as 3.
The services I provide include parent education, play therapy, child and adolescent therapy, and family therapy. My focus is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment whether the client is a child working in the play room, or the victim of a trauma working through traditional talk therapy.
I love working in partnership with all types of families whether they are single parent, foster, blended, LGBT, or "traditional." I believe that the family unit is the basis from which we develop all other relationships. Helping to facilitate supportive, emotionally healthy family environments is the focus of my practice.
