She is experienced with individuals who are experiencing distress and shame because of addiction, codependency, and difficult relationships. Tricia is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. She has learned through her own experiences how important it is to have someone hear clients' stories as they navigate how to effectively address personal life challenges. As a Registered Play Therapist who specializes in working with children 10 and under, I believe and know that children cannot process the same way that we adults do, which is why talk therapy won't work well for them. For children, play is their language and the toys are their words (Landreth). I am trained to communicate and use their play to reach their goals ( little do the kids realize what important work they are doing!) My job is to help them realize their best selves while helping you as their parent and caregivers understand and parent them in ways that can speak not only to their strengths but yours as well.

I am a couples and individual therapist that works with men's issues, women who have experienced hurt by men, people experiencing low self-esteem, relationship issues, and those grappling with the larger questions of life around meaning, purpose and spirituality.

Currently, I am full and not able to accept any new clients till May 2021. My mission and passion is to educate, promote, and inspire physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health to individuals struggling with any of the following issues: eating disorders/disordered eating, physical activity, trauma/PTSD/anxiety, alcohol/drug abuse, and valued-living. Choosing a therapist to journey with during times of pain and struggle is a very important first step to self-healing. I meet clients where they are at, and work collaboratively to move in directions of values-based living, self-empowerment, personal knowledge, and healing.

I strongly believe that YOU are the expert on yourself. That being said, at times it is helpful to have a trained professional to support you in exploring places you may feel stuck in life, unhelpful patterns, and strategies for growing and moving forward.

Things often happen in life that are out of our control, so having a space where you can safely share those experiences and feelings, tell your story to be heard, and get the support you need to overcome those hard times. For children this can be even hard because they often do not understand what happened to them, they just know they feel different and now respond differently. Children need someone who can meet them where they are and help them regain confidence and find ways to cope with and make sense of the trauma they experienced. Children, like others, want to be heard and validated in their experiences and feelings.
