I have been in the field of emotional health for over 30 years. My experience has been diverse, working with the entire age spectrum. I am comfortable utilizing several psycho therapeutic approaches. I will also integrate the Christian perspective into the counseling process, if requested. I believe that each client is a unique individual. I want to assist them in accomplishing their goals in counseling with the approach that fit their needs. My goal is to "work myself out of a job" by equipping my clients with the emotional tools that they need, so that they may enjoy their lives.
My practice includes children, adolescents and adults of all ages. However, my specialty is helping children and families in every stage of their lives. I have been able to help my clients enjoy growing together as a family, through play and family therapy sessions.
I believe that it is important to provide an environment that is welcoming to each client. My office is designed as a living room, in order to make it as comfortable as possible. Attending counseling for the first time is difficult. Feeling comfortable and safe are important factors in developing a healthy therapeutic rapport.

Co-Dependency Recovery Support & Education Group
This group is for adults who are aware of their issues of co-dependency patterns in their lives and want to walk in the recovery process. Family members of individuals with addiction issues and mental illness comprise the membership of this group. Participation in individual psychotherapy is a requirement, current or in the past year. Education on addiction, mental health issues, boundaries and self-care are a few of the strength building skills that are developed.
