My name is Emma Johnson, I am a bilingual Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing individual, adolescent and child therapy. I specialize in treating children and teens with issues related to stress, anxiety, family conflicts, blended family issues, self-esteem, depression, PTSD, ADHD and academic and school related problems. I work with parents to establish good parenting skills, communication, and conflict resolution to have a long-lasting relationship with their children.

As an associate professional clinical counselor, Loua works with individuals expereincing depression, grief, anxiety and other issues. Her approach to therapy comes from an integrative and holistic perspective that tailors each client’s treatment to their unique needs. Loua enjoys working with and getting to know clients from all different populations and age groups. In therapy, she values creating a nonjudgmental and safe place for clients to share, process, and reflect. She does this through the incorporation of CBT, mindfulness, and deep breathing exercises into sessions.

My career has been incredibly diverse and fulfilling, from labor and community organizing to counseling and psychotherapy.
