Welcome to my practice. I have been in practice since 2007 and have been featured on ABC, NBC, and KCAL as an expert psychologist. I work primarily with men who have hit “rock bottom” and would like help getting up. These men are often in crisis when we first meet. The issues I address are typically related to unhealthy sexual behaviors, infidelity, financial recklessness, gambling, drugs/alcohol, dishonesty/lying, and relational conflicts. My therapy approach is a combination of psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, and the 12-Step recovery model. I also share insight from my own painful but redemptive recovery journey.

Hello! My name is Peter Kehoe, LMFT. I was licensed in 2002 and have had an eclectic and sometimes electric life experience to date. I believe in self determination and using support teams and individuals to create positive orientation. I started my journey in this field working with alcoholic adults in a group setting in the early '80s and later moved to a long term residential setting with adolescents with drug and alcohol issues. My internship was in an upper class community with the scions of these families that had substance use and behavioral disorders. Individual and family therapy were the mediums in those cases.

I conduct comprehensive assessments for ADHD/ADD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Math Disorder, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, and other processing deficits that can affect learning and academic performance. I also have unique experience with medical conditions that affect learning, such as premature birth, in utero drug exposure, head injury, seizure disorders, and genetic syndromes. I focus on discovering your, or your child's, strengths and weaknesses so that the best mode of learning is clear.
